Terms of Service

These terms of service ("Terms") govern your use of the Mixidoo website and service at mixidoo.co.uk (the "Service"), operated by Mixidoo ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Mixidoo is an AI-powered tool that converts recipes from various websites into Thermomix-compatible format. The Service includes recipe extraction, AI conversion, recipe storage, and optional Cookidoo integration for uploading converted recipes.

2. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate information and notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Free Tier

The free tier provides limited access to the Service, including up to 3 recipe conversions per month.

Paid Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions (Home Cook and Chef) are billed monthly through our payment processor, Paddle. Prices are displayed on our pricing page and may be updated with reasonable notice.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account page. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Recipe conversions are generated by artificial intelligence and may contain inaccuracies. Thermomix settings including temperatures, speeds, and timings are AI-estimated and should be verified before use. We strongly recommend:

  • Reviewing all converted recipes before cooking
  • Using your own judgement regarding cooking times and temperatures
  • Starting with lower settings and adjusting as needed
  • Never leaving your Thermomix unattended during operation
  • Checking all ingredients for allergens, especially when using dietary adaptations
  • Consulting the official Thermomix® manual for safe operating limits

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or safety of any AI-generated recipe conversion. You use converted recipes at your own risk.

5. Cookidoo Integration

The Cookidoo integration feature allows you to upload converted recipes to your Cookidoo account. By using this feature, you acknowledge that:

  • You are providing your Cookidoo credentials voluntarily
  • Your credentials are encrypted and stored securely
  • We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Vorwerk or Cookidoo (see section 13)
  • Cookidoo may change their service at any time, which could affect this integration

6. Intellectual Property and Recipe Content

Recipes extracted from third-party websites remain the intellectual property of their respective owners. Mixidoo does not claim ownership of original recipe content.

Mixidoo is a tool that converts recipes into Thermomix-compatible format at your direction. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to use, convert, and upload any recipe you submit to the Service. Many recipe websites have terms that restrict how their content may be copied, adapted, or republished — including uploading to platforms such as Cookidoo. It is your responsibility to review and comply with the terms of use of any source website before converting or uploading a recipe.

Mixidoo shall not be liable for any copyright or intellectual property claims arising from your use of third-party recipe content. The AI-converted Thermomix adaptations are provided for your personal, non-commercial use only.

The Mixidoo service, including its design, features, and code, is our intellectual property and is protected by applicable laws.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code
  • Use automated tools to scrape or access the Service excessively
  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Circumvent usage limits or subscription restrictions
  • Create multiple accounts to obtain additional free allowances or exploit promotional offers
  • Redistribute converted recipes commercially

We reserve the right to flag, restrict, or terminate accounts suspected of abuse, including duplicate account creation to bypass usage limits.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mixidoo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to damages resulting from:

  • Inaccurate recipe conversions
  • Food preparation based on AI-generated instructions
  • Loss of data or Cookidoo account access
  • Service interruptions or unavailability
  • Damage to your Thermomix or other kitchen appliances resulting from the use of AI-generated settings, temperatures, speeds, or timings
  • Allergic reactions or adverse health effects resulting from ingredient substitutions, omissions, or inaccuracies in AI-generated recipes
  • Ingredient misuse or incorrect quantities suggested by the conversion process

Mixidoo is a software tool only and accepts no responsibility for physical damage to equipment, personal injury, or food safety issues arising from the use of converted recipes. Always consult the official Thermomix® manual and use your own judgement when preparing food.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Mixidoo and its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights of recipe creators or website owners; or (d) any recipe content you convert, save, or upload using the Service.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your stored recipes and personal data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Service. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. Trademarks

Thermomix® and Cookidoo® are registered trademarks of Vorwerk International AG. Mixidoo is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Vorwerk International AG or any of its subsidiaries. All references to third-party trademarks on this website are made solely for the purpose of describing the compatibility and interoperability of the Service and constitute nominative fair use. All other trademarks, trade names, and logos are the property of their respective owners.
