Which recipe websites are supported?

Most of the big ones: Allrecipes, BBC Good Food, Food Network, Tasty, and hundreds more. If a site uses structured recipe data (most do), we can pull the recipe automatically. Over 400 sites and counting.

What is Cookidoo integration?

Accepted Answer

Cookidoo is the official Thermomix recipe platform. With a paid plan, you can send your converted recipes straight to Cookidoo — no copy-pasting or re-typing. It lands on your Thermomix, ready to cook.

Are my Cookidoo credentials safe?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. Your password is encrypted with AES-256 before it's stored — we never see or store it in plain text. Your credentials are only used to upload recipes to your account, nothing else.

What's on the menu? (Subscription tiers)

Three options to suit your appetite: Free (3 conversions + 3 Cookidoo uploads/month), Home Cook (15 of each/month), and Chef (50 of each/month + dietary adaptations for when you want to remix a recipe).

Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

Yep, no strings attached. Cancel from your account page whenever you like — you'll keep access until the end of your billing period.

With a Chef plan, you can convert recipes to suit gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, or vegetarian diets. Our secret sauce suggests smart ingredient swaps so the dish still turns out great.

Why can't Mixidoo read a recipe from some websites?

Some websites have extra security that keeps our recipe-reading magic out. Don't worry — we'll let you know when it happens. Most popular recipes pop up on multiple sites, so try searching for the same dish elsewhere. The vast majority of recipe sites work perfectly with Mixidoo.

What if a conversion doesn't turn out right?

Cooking is complex, and occasionally things might not be nailed perfectly. You can always edit the converted recipe before saving or uploading. Let us know when something's off — your feedback helps us improve the recipe.

Who owns the recipes I convert?

Accepted Answer

The original creator does. Mixidoo is a conversion tool — we don't claim any rights over the recipes you convert. The original recipe remains the intellectual property of whoever wrote it. Some recipe websites have terms that restrict copying, adapting, or uploading their content elsewhere (including to Cookidoo), so it's worth checking before you hit upload. We always recommend using converted recipes for personal use only and respecting the hard work of fellow food creators.
